The first 20 Tidehawk workspaces pay a lower price, locked for 24 months.

How a workspace becomes eligible
Section titled “How a workspace becomes eligible”Founder pricing is claimed automatically when you sign up, while places remain. There is nothing to apply for.
Tidehawk holds exactly 20 founder places. The count is taken under a lock at the moment each workspace is created, so two people signing up at the same second cannot both take the last place. Once the 20 places are taken, they are gone, and new workspaces are created at standard pricing.
A place is held by a workspace whose founder grant has not expired. A grant that has run its 24 months no longer occupies a place.
How the discount reaches your invoice
Section titled “How the discount reaches your invoice”There is no code to enter. When an eligible workspace goes through checkout, Tidehawk attaches the discount for the plan you chose to the Stripe checkout session before you see it. The founder price is what you are asked to pay.
Because the discount is applied server-side rather than typed in, an eligible workspace does not see the promotion-code box at checkout.
How long it lasts
Section titled “How long it lasts”24 calendar months from the point the grant is made. Tidehawk calculates the end date in calendar months and clamps it to the last day of the target month, so a grant made on 29 February ends on the last day of February two years later rather than rolling into March.
Your Billing page and your Stripe invoices reflect the founder amount for the duration. After it ends, the subscription continues at the standard price for your plan.
Changing plan as a founder
Section titled “Changing plan as a founder”The discount follows you across plan changes during the 24 months. If you move from Starter to Growth, the Growth founder price applies, not the Starter discount carried over.
If you are not eligible
Section titled “If you are not eligible”Workspaces created after the 20 places were taken pay the standard prices listed in Plans and limits, and see the normal promotion-code box at checkout.
