Your trial
Every new Tidehawk workspace starts on a 14-day trial. No card is needed to begin.
What the trial includes
Section titled “What the trial includes”The trial is the full product, not a cut-down version. Certificate discovery, domain expiry tracking, alert rules, PSA integrations, reports, the audit log and two-factor authentication all work exactly as they do on a paid plan.
The one figure that differs is the client limit. While your workspace is on trial you can add up to 500 clients, the ceiling of the highest plan, so an evaluation is never cut short by the cap. When you pick a plan, that plan’s limit applies. See client limits and plans and limits.
Reminders before it ends
Section titled “Reminders before it ends”Tidehawk emails the workspace owner twice as the trial closes:

In the last three days a banner also appears at the top of every page, counting down and offering Add payment method.
When the trial ends
Section titled “When the trial ends”If no payment method has been added, the workspace moves to read-only mode.
Monitoring does not stop. Scans keep running, registry expiry keeps being re-read, and your data stays exactly where it is. What changes is that you can no longer make changes: adding a client, editing a rule or removing a domain is refused, and the billing pages stay open so you can subscribe. The billing page shows “Your free trial has expired” with an explanation that the account is in read-only mode.
Subscribing lifts the restriction immediately. You do not need to sign out and back in.
If nothing is done
Section titled “If nothing is done”Seven days after the trial lapses, a read-only workspace is suspended. At that point background monitoring really does halt, and every page redirects to billing until a plan is chosen.
A suspended workspace that never subscribed is then scheduled for deletion 30 days out, and Tidehawk emails a reminder before that date arrives. Subscribing at any point before the deletion date cancels it.
Choosing a plan
Section titled “Choosing a plan”Open Billing in the sidebar to see the plans, their prices and their client limits, and to add a payment method. Upgrades take effect immediately and your card is pro-rated for the remainder of the billing period.
