PDF reports
Tidehawk builds two PDF reports on demand, both branded with your workspace name.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”You need at least one client. Until then the Reports page offers to add one instead.
The Certificate Expiry Report
Section titled “The Certificate Expiry Report”- Open Reports.
- Under Certificate Expiry Report, choose a Client, or leave All clients.
- Choose a Status filter: All statuses, Critical only (≤7 days), Warning only (≤30 days) or Healthy only (>30 days).
- Select Download PDF.
The file arrives as cert-expiry-YYYY-MM-DD.pdf.
Inside you get a header carrying the Tidehawk mark, the report name, the generation timestamp in your workspace timezone, and the client and workspace names. Below that sit five counts: total, expired, critical at 7 days or fewer, warning at 30 days or fewer, and healthy.
The table lists one row per certificate, ordered by expiry date, soonest first: row number, hostname or common name, client, issuer, expiry date, days remaining and status. Every page is footed with “Confidential — your workspace · Generated by Tidehawk” and a page number.
Revoked certificates and certificates already resolved are excluded.
The Domain Expiry Report
Section titled “The Domain Expiry Report”- Open Reports.
- Under Domain Expiry Report, choose a Client or leave All clients.
- Select Download PDF.
The file arrives as domain-expiry-YYYY-MM-DD.pdf. There is no status filter on this report.
The summary counts are total, critical at 7 days or fewer, expiring within 30 days, and domains with no expiry data. The table lists row number, hostname, client, registrar, expiry date, days remaining and status, ordered by expiry date.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”The PDF is generated when you select the button and downloaded straight away. Nothing is stored, so each download reflects the estate as it stands at that moment. Generate a fresh copy whenever you need current figures.
Limits and edge cases
Section titled “Limits and edge cases”- Both reports read live data. There is no way to produce a report as at an earlier date.
- A domain with no registry expiry recorded appears with an empty date and the status Unknown, and is counted under “No expiry data”.
- The status bands are fixed at 7 and 30 days and match the pills in the app. See Certificate status.
- Timestamps use the workspace timezone set on Settings. Dates inside the tables are day, month and year in UK order.
- Both reports also download as CSV. See CSV exports.
